I received a B.A. in Fine Art from Humboldt State University, California. Post-B.A. I worked primarily in fiber arts. From the late 1980's until recently, I had a successful career as an arts administrator in both the public and non-profit sector. I worked for the Tacoma Arts Commission in the 1990's. I was one of the founders of the Tacoma School of the Arts (SOTA) and helped establish the non-profit SOTA Partners. A short time ago I gave up full-time work in arts administration in order to pursue my artwork. I am currently focusing on monotype printmaking and painting in watercolor, acrylic and encaustic.

I work and live in Washington State, USA.
